Running across Hammersmith Bridge this morning
Experience the Scenic Route
This morning, I embarked on a refreshing run across Hammersmith Bridge. The route was both invigorating and picturesque, perfect for a morning workout. Starting at Putney Bridge, I was greeted by the cool breeze of the River Thames, setting a refreshing tone for my run.
Exploring the Pathways
From Putney Bridge, I headed towards Fulham Railway Bridge. The sound of trains in the distance blended beautifully with the rhythmic sound of my footsteps. After crossing the Fulham railway bridge, I made my way to Wandsworth Park. Rounding the park was a highlight, as the greenery offered a welcome distraction from the bustling city life.
Returning to Putney
As I continued through the underpass to Bishop’s Park, the atmosphere shifted to a more serene vibe. A detour near Craven Cottage allowed me to feel the history surrounding this iconic football ground before heading back to the Thames Path. Finally, crossing back over Hammersmith Bridge felt triumphant, providing a stunning view of the river. I concluded my journey with a leisurely walk back to Putney, feeling rejuvenated and grateful for the morning’s experience.
