Another enjoyable Saturday morning at Telford parkrun, with a strong performance over the familiar 5 km course.
I finished in 22:19, placing 41st out of 568 runners. It was a competitive field, and I was pleased to come away with 2nd place in the VM55–59 age category out of 30 athletes.

Race Reflections
The effort felt like a proper parkrun race from the start, maintaining a strong pace throughout and working hard over the final kilometres. The heart-rate data reflects the intensity, with an average of 160 bpm and a maximum of 170 bpm showing a sustained effort close to race level.
