Running at Silverstone

The Silverstone 10K offers runners the rare opportunity to race on one of the world’s most famous motor racing circuits. The smooth tarmac, wide track, and unique surroundings make it a fast and enjoyable event for runners of all abilities.

The event attracted a large field of 1,773 finishers, creating a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish. Crossing the line in 218th place overall and 27th in the Male Vet 50 category made the day even more rewarding.

Race Day Experience

Conditions were ideal for running, and the circuit provided plenty of space to settle into a comfortable rhythm while enjoying the iconic corners and straights that have hosted Formula One legends over the years.

Events like the Silverstone 10K are a brilliant way to combine personal fitness goals with memorable race-day experiences, and this was certainly one to remember.
